Role Description
As an expert of the datamanagement and reporting services you function as a bridge, connecting external stakeholders, business, IT, datamanagement, data analytics and reporting. Your main focus will be to improve our reporting service to external stakeholders within the data management and reporting team. Improvements are required in quality (e.g. STS for our RMBS program), timeliness and manual activities. You will be working within the Retail Bank business unit.

Within the Retail Banking strategic business unit the Datamanagement & Reporting team is responsible for datamanagement and reporting services for our mortgage and savings business. The Datamanagement & Reporting team communicates with external stakeholders (investors), business, IT and regulators.

What will you do?
- As an expert of the data management and reporting team you will be responsible for our weekly and monthly mortgages reporting services for our investors. The reporting team currently consists out of 3 FTE’s.
- You will be responsible to make sure that reports are consistent and reliable and timelines are met in accordance with our investors SLA’s and internal reporting planning.
- Communication with our investors on reporting services and monitor outstanding questions and change requests.
- Proactive in designing feasible reporting improvements that will benefit our investors and the business.
- Participate in projects to streamline and further automate the administrative processes to improve internal information systems, reports and internal procedures.
- Coordinate data management change request from start to finish, in cooperation with our mortgage servicer (Stater), IT and the business.
What do you need?
- At least 5 - 8 years of relevant work experience
- Bachelor or Master Degree (proven analytical and problem solving skills)
- Problem solving and good Dutch and English communication skills so that you are able to explain complex material and manage expectations
- Team player
- A can-do mentality where you are able to execute tasks and work under time constraints
- Experience and affinity with different reporting solutions / approaches
- Ability to work with data modelling software (Business Objects, VBA, Matlab), data warehouses and Excel spreadsheets
- Experience with designing and testing checks and balances to safeguard reliability of data and reporting.
- Knowledge of financial / banking business domains, processes, products and services (preferably retail mortgages)
Nice to have?
- Experience with development, implementation and management of modern BI technologies and tooling
- Experience with finance and control reporting processes will be helpful. The focus of the team is reporting product sales and performance data
- Knowledge and experience with agile way of working
